GEORGI TURNER
CLUB MANAGER & COACH
Originally from Romania, Georgi played as an elite national junior. She has an aggressive game style and is an accomplished all court player. She has coached in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Australia over a period of 12 years. Georgi has been coaching at Miami Tennis Club since 2020 and is a familiar and friendly face in the pro shop. With a wealth of tennis knowledge, she really enjoys seeing people progressing and getting the most out of their game, while having fun along the way. Working with kids and adults, Georgi can assist with both the technical and strategic elements to improve your game.
COACHING TEAM
Brett has 24 years of coaching experience. He started coaching at the age of 15 helping at holiday clinics then started to do his own lessons when he was 17. After starting full time coaching at Forestville Tennis Club in Sydney in 1998 he then completed his Level 2 Advanced coaching course in 2002. He grew his experience with elite talent by assisting the state squads for tennis NSW. He then moved to the Gold Coast in 2006 after moving up from Sydney, where he joined the HPTA family. Brett prides himself on finding the balance between making sure his clients improve every lesson and also enjoying their time on the tennis court.

COREY SMITH
Corey has been coaching with the High Performance Tennis Academy, at Miami Tennis Club, since July 2019. Before joining our team Corey had coached at other clubs in Melbourne & the Gold Coast, coaching in different Tennis Australia development programmes. Corey has gained very important experience at all levels. Corey is currently coaching all standards & all age groups in both small groups & private lessons. Before starting his coaching career Corey had played as an elite player in Australia & New Zealand having good success in both singles & doubles. While Corey still enjoys playing competitively in local tournaments & competitions, his main priority is helping anybody enjoy our amazing game.
CODEY QUIGAN
Codey Quigan has been coaching with the High Performance Tennis Academy at Miami Tennis Club since February 2020. With more than 10 years coaching experience & coaching at several other clubs, Codey wanted to join our team at Miami Tennis Club. As a fully qualified coach Codey has great experience working with beginner's right through to elite players of all ages. Codey has coached at 4 other clubs that have all won the award "Tennis Club of the Year", at the annual Tennis Gold Coast awards night. In 2019 Codey was a finalist for coach of the year. Codey is also a qualified court official & has helped to organise many tournaments at all levels on the Gold Coast. Codey has played tennis from the age of 6 & trained at Tennis Australia's National Academy in Brisbane for 3 years. Codey has played at an international level as a junior & adult player. Codey is passionate about helping people reach their tennis potential.
Cameron has 8+ years coaching experience and achieved a career high 140 Australian ranking while he was playing. He competed at the Futures level and also held a scholarship at the Queensland Academy of Sport. He loves working with kids and enjoys sharing and teaching knowledge from past experiences. Cameron loves teaching our great game to anyone who would like to learn either competitively or for recreation.
